Shopify Store Leads Scraper

Discovers Shopify-powered stores by product niche and enriches each with the store's owner email and social links.
How it works
- Search — for each product-niche query you provide (e.g. "handmade candles", "yoga mats"), the actor searches for stores selling that kind of product.
- Confirm Shopify — each result is checked for Shopify's own technical fingerprints (CDN assets, storefront JS, generator tags) before being kept, so results genuinely are Shopify stores, not a guess based on the search query alone.
- Deduplicate — the same store surfaced by more than one query is only recorded once, keyed on domain.
- Enrich — the actor visits each confirmed store's homepage (and, if no email is found there, up to two Contact/About-style pages) and extracts the store name, an email address, and Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Twitter links.
Input
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
queries | array (required) | Product-niche search terms, e.g. ["handmade candles", "yoga mats"]. |
maxResultsPerQuery | integer | How many search results to check per query. Default 30. |
proxyConfiguration | object | Apify Proxy settings. |
Output
Each record: name, website, email, query, socialLinks (object).
What this actor does NOT do (please read before running)
- Not every search result is a Shopify store. Non-Shopify results (Etsy listings, blog posts, directories) are checked and discarded — expect fewer leads than search results.
- No email verification. Extracted emails are exactly what's published on the store's website — there's no DNS/SMTP deliverability check.
- Discovery is search-based, not a complete directory. There's no official "browse every Shopify store" source — this actor finds stores the same way a shopper would, by searching what they sell. Deliberately avoids both Shopify's own consumer shopping API (personal-use only, prohibits bulk/commercial automation) and third-party hosting-lookup directories that prohibit automated scraping in their terms — so coverage is real but not exhaustive.
Who this is for
- E-commerce SaaS vendors (payment processors, marketing/email tools, fulfillment, accounting apps) sourcing Shopify merchants to sell into.
- Shopify App Store developers prospecting merchants in a specific product category.
- Marketing agencies building prospect lists for e-commerce clients.
- Market research — merchant density and positioning by product niche.
