Collect source-backed article cards from the public Bing News search experience in an ordinary Chrome session. The actor does not mask browser automation, call private APIs, solve challenges, or bypass access controls.
Input
{"query": "artificial intelligence","maxItems": 20,"maxPages": 3,"scrollRounds": 3,"sortBy": "date","timeRange": "week","proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }}
query is required and limited to 200 characters. Runs are bounded to 1–100 records, 1–5 result pages, 0–10 scroll rounds per page, and 0–2 request retries. Supported sort values are date and relevance; time ranges are any, day, week, and month. Direct access is the default. A requested but unusable proxy fails explicitly.
Output
Each record includes a stable ID, canonical article URL, title, observed card metadata, query/filter context, and complete extraction provenance. publishedAt appears only when Bing exposes a parseable timestamp; relative display text remains in publishedText and is never converted into a fabricated exact time.
OUTPUT_SUMMARY records status, result and page counts, filters, proxy use, failures, and runtime. Empty, challenged, or incomplete runs fail explicitly.
Limits and responsible use
Bing may change public markup, ranking, filters, redirects, and regional results. Publisher pages may be paywalled and copyright remains with the publisher. This actor returns search-result metadata and links, not article bodies. Use it in accordance with Bing and publisher terms and applicable law.
