MaxResults
I'm running this actor by API call. I'm trying to get it to respect 'maxresults', but I'm getting inconsistent run-terminations that don't match the 'maxresults' setting.
I assume that is because the run is polled every (x) seconds for it's current results count, and the run won't stop until the last polling sample > maxresults??
I've tried to test this a few ways but it's not clear to me a) if maxResults is the right key to kill the job after it reaches our desired limit, and b) if the actor is respecting maxResults value.
Please advise?
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out! This Actor only has "maxCrawledPlacesPerSearch"
parameter. To limit the number of results per search term or URL, you should use this one. This setting controls the maximum number of places the Actor will extract for each search term or URL you provide. Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Andrea

Ok, thanks. On jobs built through the console, there is a 'max billable' parameter in the run settings... can this not be transmitted via API jobs also?
Yes, the max billable
parameter is an equivalent to maxItems
in API calls and can be transmitted via API jobs.

Thanks for your help :) will test with both.
