Hi there, I assumed that by asking for a maximum requests of 100, it would give me the latest 100 reviews for a specific place but in many cases, it kept scraping. In one occurence, it got over 11k reviews which cost over $5 only for that one. Please see attached screenshot. How do I get this actor to grab only the latest 100 reviews from a place and not everything? Thanks,
Hi,
the "Number of reviews" input field is per place and since you entered a Google Maps search URL (https://maps.google.com/maps/search/Village+Food+Stores+New+York,+USA), it tried to scrape 100 reviews from each place in that list of found places.
In order to get only reviews for an exact place, you need to enter a Google Maps place URL, for example:
As you can see, the place URL starts with https://www.google.com/maps/place whereas the search URL starts with https://maps.google.com/maps/search.
