De-listed. Verified on 2026-08-24 through a genuinely connected Apify residential proxy: Amazon answers with its own "Sorry! Something went wrong!" page. Kept runnable for existing users; it returns nothing.

Amazon Product & Review Scraper

De-listed from Apify Store. Amazon blocks this, and the block is real.

Verified on 2026-08-24 through Apify Residential Proxy, with the account's residential meter confirming the traffic actually left the platform: www.amazon.com/s answers with Amazon's own "Sorry! Something went wrong!" page. No products, no reviews.

The Actor stays public and runnable so existing users keep access. It returns nothing.

The earlier explanation was wrong, and worth recording

Until 2026-08-24 this Actor's README said Amazon needed a residential proxy and that the free plan had none. Both halves were wrong, and the second hid the first:

  1. The account does have residential proxy — 20 GB a month, listed in its proxy groups.
  2. The Actor was never using it. It passed Apify's proxy URL, credentials and all, straight into Playwright's proxy.server. Playwright wants server, username and password as three separate keys; with credentials embedded, Chromium fails the proxy handshake silently and every navigation lands on a blank page — title='', text='', in half a second.

The tell was in the account, not the log. The run said "Using Apify Residential Proxy" while monthlyResidentialProxyGbytes read exactly 0. Not one byte had gone through the proxy the run claimed to be using, so "Amazon blocks Apify" was a conclusion drawn about a blank page.

With the wiring fixed (playwright_proxy() in src/main.py), the meter moves and the page changes — from title='' to title='Sorry! Something went wrong!'. That is Amazon refusing, which is a different and now-trustworthy answer.
