Collect structured metadata from publicly accessible mod.io game and mod pages. It is designed for catalog discovery, compatibility research, and scheduled version/change snapshots.
Input
Provide urls with public game (/g/...) or mod (/g/.../m/...) page URLs. The Actor accepts up to 100 URLs per run and supports:
maxUrls(1–100),retries(0–4), andtimeoutMs(2–30 seconds).baseline: records from an earlier run. Matching canonical URLs are markednew, changed, orunchanged, withchangedFields.
Invalid hosts and duplicate URLs are rejected safely. An empty URL list is a valid no-op run, useful for validating schedules. No credentials, API keys, login, CAPTCHA bypass, or proxy is used.
Output
Each dataset record includes the requested and canonical URL, title, description, image, detected version, public modified time, game/mod IDs when exposed in the page, tags, platform and dependency signals, page type, retrieval time, change status, and an explicit status. Failed pages are retained as error records so partial runs remain visible. SUMMARY contains accepted/rejected counts and failures.
Version and compatibility values are best-effort signals from public HTML/structured data; mod.io pages can change markup and may omit them. For authoritative, complete catalog/version data, use mod.io's official API in accordance with its access and licensing requirements.
Limits and safe use
The Actor makes at most one request per URL plus bounded retries. Use a reasonable schedule and respect mod.io terms, robots guidance, rate limits, copyright, and applicable law. This Actor reads public HTML only; it does not claim access to private, gated, or API-only data.
