Collect public ads from Meta's Ad Library by keyword, Facebook Page ID, page URL, or page alias. Each Dataset row keeps Meta's original ad snapshot and adds practical creative, media, placement, advertiser-page, pagination, and optional transparency data.
What this Actor does
The Actor searches Meta Ads Library results over a bounded HTTP session and follows the source cursor until it reaches your ad limit, the page budget, or the end of the available results. It supports all publisher platforms exposed by the library: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Audience Network, Threads, WhatsApp, Oculus, and Streaming Services.
Every ad row preserves the fields returned by Meta, including the ad archive ID, advertiser page, active state, dates, categories, spend and impression ranges when available, countries, placements, delivery restrictions, and the complete snapshot. The added creative object provides direct access to copy, headline, CTA, destination URL, image and video URLs, carousel cards, and page information without forcing you to traverse the raw snapshot. Optional detail enrichment adds advertiser transparency, payer and beneficiary data, page profile data, and EU/UK/Brazil audience information when Meta publishes it.

How to use
- Open the Actor in Apify Console.
- Enter a keyword, or use a numeric Page ID or Facebook page URL/alias, then choose the country and result limit.
- Enable Enrich ad details only when transparency and page-profile fields are needed.
- Click Start and open the Dataset when the run finishes.
Input
At least one search target is required. Enter a keyword, a numeric Facebook Page ID, or a Facebook page URL/alias. These are alternative ways to choose the target; leave the other target fields empty. All other inputs are optional and use the defaults shown below.
Required search target
query: use a brand, advertiser, product, or exact phrase, such asikea,nike,seguros de hogar, or"black friday". The input form cannot mark these three alternatives as individually required, so the Actor validates the rule at run time and rejects an input where all three are empty.

publisherPlatforms and contentLanguages are multi-select fields, so users should choose values from the dropdown rather than type them manually. The returned publisher_platform field can still contain every placement reported by Meta, even when a placement filter is used.
Output
The Dataset contains one row per deduplicated ad_archive_id. The raw Meta response remains under snapshot; use creative for common fields such as allTexts, format, linkUrl, ctaType, imageUrls, videoUrls, cardData, and the advertiser page. Optional details contains the extra transparency response, while enrichment records whether that ad was enriched, skipped, unavailable, or failed individually. collection records the filters and pagination termination for the run.
The default Key-value Store also contains RUN_SUMMARY with the run status, counts, and pagination result. Transport, challenge, malformed-response, and GraphQL failures are not converted into a successful empty search. Dataset rows already written remain available when the run fails later.

The Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. A delivered row can create one ad charge and one creative_details charge; enabling Enrich ad details can add one advertiser_details charge for each detail payload that Meta returns successfully. Searching, empty results, failed detail requests, no_data details, skipped details, and discarded rows do not create a direct charge. ad and creative_details count only rows written to the Dataset; advertiser_details counts only successful optional detail payloads. Limits and data quality
The Actor can return only fields Meta publishes for the selected country, ad type, advertiser, and ad state. Spend, impressions, reach, demographic transparency, payer information, and profile metrics are conditional; null means the source did not provide that value. Estimated audience fields must be treated as estimates, not measured campaign performance.
Media URLs are supplied by Meta and can expire. The raw snapshot is kept so downstream users can inspect fields that are not yet represented in creative. Results are deduplicated by ad_archive_id. A page_budget termination means the source may contain more matching ads; exhausted means the returned cursor reported no next page. Content-language and special ad-type semantics remain Meta-defined and should not be interpreted as an independent language classifier or visual classifier.
The search protocol is based on Meta's public library web response and can change when Meta changes that interface. After the short request retry, the Actor can renew its internal session and replay the same operation up to five times after a temporary 403 or 429, preserving the current pagination cursor. A persistent block, malformed response, challenge, or GraphQL error is surfaced as a failed run rather than silently reporting zero ads. The run can also stop normally at maxAds, maxPages, or source exhaustion.
The Apify run log shows the complete run progression: validated filters, connection and page resolution, each fetched page with unique-result progress, optional enrichment milestones, Dataset delivery, charged event counts, elapsed time, rate, and ETA where available. Temporary 403/429 retries and session recoveries are also reported. The status message is a shorter phase summary; use the run log for the detailed trace.

What is the difference between snapshot and creative?
snapshot is the complete source object returned for the ad. creative is a normalized convenience layer for copy, CTA, destination, media URLs, cards, and page information. Use snapshot when you need a field not listed in the convenience layer.
Why is an ad row present without details?
Details are optional and limited by detailsLimit. Meta may not publish detail data for every ad, and an individual detail request can fail while the base ad remains valid. Inspect enrichment.status for enriched, no_data, failed, or skipped.
Responsible use
Use this Actor only for lawful research and respect Meta's terms, applicable privacy and intellectual-property rules, advertising regulations, and the rights of advertisers and audiences. Do not use collected data to harass people, evade access controls, or make unlawful decisions about individuals.
