Why this daily trends scraper
- The whole daily list, not 10 items. Google's daily RSS feed has about 10 keywords per country; this reads the full Trending Now list (US, past 24 hours: 487 trending keywords on 2026-10-04).
- Every country and US state, several in one run. A run for 8 countries delivered 1,304 trending keywords in 9 seconds (run time in the Console, 2026-10-05).
- A score you can sort on:
scoreis the keyword's search volume against the biggest trend in that location (1,000 = the biggest), next to the raw volume (500000, shown as500K+) and growth in %. - The story behind each keyword: up to 20 news articles per trend with the publisher's own link, source, time and image.
- No login, no browser, no residential proxy. A restarted run (a migration, or a resurrect seconds after it ends) never charges a keyword twice or goes past your max per location.
How to use it
- Pick one or more Locations (a country, or a state or region such as California or Bavaria).
- Pick the window (Trending in the past 4 h, 24 h, 48 h or 7 days) and, if you like, Categories and Status.
- Run it, or schedule it daily or hourly to keep a history. Download JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API, Make, Zapier or n8n.

A location Google has no list for gets a free row in the Issues dataset.
