Google Trends Trending Now

Every search trending on Google right now, for any country, from the Trending Now page of Google Trends: the search term, how many searches it had, how fast it grew, when it started, whether it's still rising, its category and the related searches Google groups with it.

Most Trending Now Actors read Google's RSS feed, which carries only the top 10 trends per country. This one reads the data behind the Trending Now page itself, so you get the whole list in the country's own language. On 27 September that was 404 trends for the US and 281 for the UK.

What you get for each trend

• The search term and its rank on the page
• Search volume, as a number and as Google writes it (500K+)
• Growth percentage and the time the trend started
• Whether it's still rising or has ended
• Categories such as Sports, Politics, Business and Finance or Entertainment
• Related searches, and a link to explore the term on Google Trends

• timeWindow: 4 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days, the same windows as the Trends page.
• categories, activeOnly and minSearchVolume filter the trends before you pay for them.
• language sets the language of the results, for example de for Germany.

Schedule it every few hours to keep a history of what each country was searching for.

Pricing

$0.0005 per trend, so a full US list of around 400 trends costs about $0.20. Filters apply before charging, and a country that fails is an error row that costs nothing. Apify adds $0.00005 per run for starting the Actor.

Limits

• The data is Google's own list and its rounded volumes (500K+, 10K+), not exact counts.
• Google decides which countries have a Trending Now page. A country without one comes back as an error row.
• News articles linked to each trend aren't included yet, only how many there are.
• The list changes by the minute, so two runs an hour apart won't match. That's the point of scheduling it.
