It works as an unofficial eBay reviews API alternative, returning the reviewer, rating, comment, date, buyer photos and full product details as structured data you can export to JSON, CSV, Excel or XML.

Which reviews do you get?

eBay does not have per-product reviews the way some marketplaces do — what you see is the seller's Feedback. This Actor lets you pick the scope with the Scrape all seller reviews switch:

Switch	What you get	When to use
OFF (default)	Only the Feedback attached to that exact listing. Because Feedback is seller-level, many listings have only a few item-specific reviews — and some have none at all.	You want reviews that are precisely about this one product.

In ON mode, results are the same for any URL belonging to the same seller, and each review may refer to a different item — use the ReviewedItem* fields to tell them apart. ProductDetails always describes the product from the URL you supplied.

How to scrape eBay reviews

1. Open the Actor on Apify Store and click Try for free.
2. Paste eBay product URLs into the eBay Product URLs field — one or many.
3. Pick the review scope — leave Scrape all seller reviews off for listing-only Feedback, turn it on for the seller's full history.
4. Set filters (optional) — rating, photos only, sort order, and a per-URL cap. Leave Exclude eBay automated Feedback on unless you specifically want eBay's template entries.

Note how ProductDetails describes the Wolverine boots from the input URL, while ReviewedItemTitle shows this particular Feedback was left for a Caterpillar boot. That is normal in seller-wide mode — and exactly why the ReviewedItem* fields exist.

Tips

• A listing with no reviews is normal. eBay Feedback is seller-level, so plenty of individual listings carry only a handful of item-specific entries, or none. Turn on Scrape all seller reviews when you need volume.
• Automated Feedback is filtered by default. If a listing's only Feedback is eBay's auto-generated kind, you will get zero rows. Turn Exclude eBay automated Feedback off to see everything eBay shows.
• Dates are ranges, not timestamps. eBay publishes Past month / Past 6 months / Past year rather than exact dates, so precise time-series analysis is not possible from this source.
• One photo per review. ReviewImageCount reports how many photos a buyer attached, but eBay's Feedback feed exposes only the first image URL.
• RELEVANCE surfaces different reviews than TIME. If a listing looks thin under one sort order, try the other.
• Prices follow the domain you give us. A ebay.de URL returns EUR 121,84; the same item via ebay.com returns $139.95. Use the domain of the marketplace you actually care about.
• De-duplicate with ReviewId when you run the same URLs on a schedule. Combine it with Apify Schedules and integrations to keep a dataset fresh.

FAQ and support

Is it legal to scrape eBay reviews?

Scraping publicly available data is generally legal, but what you do with it matters. This Actor only collects information eBay shows publicly to any visitor.

Does this Actor need my eBay account?

No. It does not log in and never touches account-only data.

Why did I get fewer reviews than the listing shows?

Two common reasons: eBay's automated Feedback is filtered out by default, and the count shown on a listing page is usually the seller's total, not that listing's. Turn on Scrape all seller reviews to collect the full seller history.

Can I get the exact date of a review?

No. eBay only publishes coarse ranges such as Past month.

What about personal data?

Our Actors are ethical and do not extract any private user data, such as email addresses, gender, or location. They only extract what the user has chosen to share publicly.
