Lot of random issues with experiences

Closed

There are lots of issue with the experience field. It is mixing the company name and the role of the LinkedIn profile together. You can see an example in the run as example.

If you can add a companyName property, and ensure that the title is the right one, I would be able to use this scrapper more.

Also having the current title/position as a property in the return would be nice, instead of having to open Experiences.

Thank you

Have you had the opportunity to check, please? it's really problematic.

I think I might have understood the issue. It breaks once there are subcomponents in the experience field:

This one is OK: { ... "title": "Senior Product Manager", "subtitle": "Ari10", "caption": "Jan 2025 - Present · 3 mos", "metadata": "Poznań, Wielkopolskie, Poland · Remote", "breakdown": false, "subComponents": [ { "description": [] } ] }

This one has the company in the "title" field:

{ ... "title": "UpCloud", "subtitle": "Full-time · 10 mos", "caption": "Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland · Remote", "breakdown": true, "subComponents": [ { "title": "Marketing Manager", "caption": "Jan 2025 - Present · 3 mos", "description": [] }, { "title": "Customer Engagement Specialist", "caption": "Jun 2024 - Dec 2024 · 7 mos", "description": [] } ] },

thank you, that's great! I think you're still missing "companyIdentifier", I needed to recreate it from the linkedin URL, which is not a huge deal, but that would be a nice addition.

And thank you for letting me know

dev_fusion avatar

I am already giving, company linkedin. company identifier is inside that company linkedin field only. Still, I will add a separate field for that too.
