Setup — free API key (2 minutes)

Uses the official Companies House API, free:

1. Register at developer.company-information.service.gov.uk
2. Create an application → copy the REST API key
3. Paste it into the actor's API Key input (stored encrypted)

A note on scope

Companies House does not provide a way to search for "all charges filed this week" across every company — charges are only queryable per-company. This actor is a lookup/enrichment tool, not a new-charges trigger monitor: you supply the company numbers, it returns their charge history. To find companies worth checking in the first place, pair it with our New Incorporations or Strike-Off Monitor actors, or your own prospect/customer list.
