ConsumerFinance.gov Rules Text Extraction Tool

This tool is designed to extract text from ConsumerFinance.gov rules using Playwright and Node.js.

Prerequisites

Node.js version 20 (current LTS version)
npm

Installation

Clone this repository.
Run npm install to install dependencies.
If encountering any browser errors, run npx install playwright.

Usage

Windows

Run start.bat.

Mac

Run start.sh.

Manual Execution

To manually run the tool, use node ./src/main.js or npm start.

Customization

Modify the startUrls in the src/main.js file to change the URLs to extract text from.
