GLEIF LEI Legal Entity Lookup

Look up Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI) via the official GLEIF API. Returns Level-1 legal-entity registry data: legal name, status, jurisdiction, addresses, registration / LOU metadata.

Price: $0.0018 per LEI record saved (lei-fetched). No start fee. Failures and not-found LEIs are free.

Input

• isinsPerLei (default 0 = off): add mapped ISINs to every record.

entityStatus	Optional ACTIVE / INACTIVE filter for searches
maxResultsPerSearch	Cap per name search (default 10)
maxRecords	Hard cap on billed records (default 100)

Output fields

lei, legalName, otherNames, entityStatus, jurisdiction, category, legalFormId, legalAddress, headquartersAddress, registeredAs, registrationStatus, managingLou, bic / mic / ocid when present, source, attribution, fetchedAt.

ISINs per LEI (optional)

Set isinsPerLei (for example 20) to add isins (up to that many securities GLEIF maps to the entity) and isinTotal (how many exist) to each record. It costs one extra GLEIF request per LEI and nothing extra on your bill. The mapping comes from GLEIF's LEI-to-ISIN link (with ANNA), so smaller issuers often have none.

Limits

• Level-1 LEI records only (who is who). Level-2 parent/child relationships are not fetched.
• Companies without an LEI are not found; a name search returns only entities that have one.
• Data is as current as GLEIF's daily publication.

Responsible use

• Data is provided by GLEIF under CC0 1.0. Attribution is appreciated (included on every item).
• This actor calls only Level-1 lei-records endpoints. It does not fetch officer or natural-person data.
• Polite client: ≤1 request/second, honest User-Agent with a contact URL, robots.txt respected.
• Do not misrepresent DigiVibeTech as GLEIF or an LEI issuer.
