I've been testing your actor (epctex/yelp-scraper) and really like the results.

There are two data sets that I need from Yelp that I'm hoping you will consider adding to this actor.

  1. the option to add n number of images per place (top priority for us)
  2. the latitude and longitude of the place

I am about to kick off an on-going scrape project for Yelp - initially about 30K places month, then scaling up significantly from there and would love to use your actor if you are able to add these data points. Thank you.

Hey there,

Thank you very much for reaching out, and letting us know about your inquiry. We just deployed a new version after your message. In this version, we included the latitude and longitude information of the place. Also, we added two new options:

  • includePhotos: This is a boolean (checkbox) attribute where you can enable or disable fetching the photos. We must make this optional because it will increase the consumption per place.
  • endPageForPhotos: This functionality only applies if includePhotos property is enabled. It allows users to stop after a specific number of pagination pages. Each page should retrieve 30 results.
