Slow Crawling Speed

Recently, while using this crawler, we noticed that it takes about one minute to retrieve a 31MB(10min) video. This speed is slower than we anticipated. Could you clarify whether the current download process from the Google API utilizes multithreading to accelerate the download speed, or if the current speed is limited by the Apify Proxy?

Thank you very much for reaching out, and letting us know about your inquiry. The actor splits the video into chunks and downloads them in parallel. Therefore, it should be quite fast in comparison to the single-threaded downloads. However, Apify's proxies are a very big factor that can affect the proxy speed as you mention. Therefore, you might want to use custom proxies to increase the speed.
