SEC EDGAR Filings Scraper — 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K by Ticker

Get the latest SEC filings for any US public company straight from the official EDGAR system. Send tickers (AAPL, NVDA) or CIK numbers, choose which forms you care about (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, 4, 13F…) and receive a clean dataset with filing dates, accession numbers and direct links to the documents.

Built for equity research, compliance monitoring, quant pipelines and AI agents that need "what did this company just file?" as structured data instead of a website.

FAQ

Is this official data? Yes — it reads EDGAR's own public JSON endpoints, following the SEC's published fair-access rules (identified requests, throttled). No scraping of HTML pages.

How fresh is it? EDGAR publishes filings within seconds of acceptance; each run returns the most recent ones first.

Can I monitor filings automatically? Yes — schedule the actor (e.g. hourly with 8-K only) and consume the dataset diff downstream, or let an AI agent call it via MCP.

Honest limitations

  • Covers SEC registrants (US-listed companies and foreign issuers that file with the SEC) — private companies don't file with EDGAR.
  • reportDate is empty for some form types; that's how EDGAR reports it.
