Common uses

• Lead lists — every business in a category and area, with phone and website, ready for outreach.
• Local market research — who the players are, how they rate, how many reviews they carry.
• Competitor tracking — run on a schedule and watch ratings and review counts move.

Notes worth reading

• Turn on "Get phone & website" for contact data. Without it you get name, rating, category and address from the search results, which is fast; with it, the Actor opens each listing for the full contact record, which is slower but complete.
• Review counts are best-effort. Google renders the review count inconsistently on its result pages. Enrichment recovers it reliably in most cases (10/10 in a typical run), but a business may occasionally come back with a rating and no count. The rating itself is reliable.
• Results are whatever Google returns for your query. A loose query like dentist London can include a business in London, Kentucky. Make the query specific to keep results tight.

Be a good citizen

Cache your results, run on a sensible schedule, and don't hammer Google with rapid repeated queries. Use the proxy option if you're running at real volume.
