The Equibase US horse racing scraper that returns entries, results and payouts as clean rows
Pull race cards with morning-line odds, jockeys, trainers, owners and pedigree, or official results with finish order and payouts, for any US thoroughbred track and day, without opening a single Equibase page by hand.
🏇 Full entries
Program number, jockey, trainer, owner, weight, pedigree, and morning-line odds for every horse
🏆 Official results
Finish order with horse IDs, winning time, track condition, and win, place, and show payouts for every horse
🎟️ Race conditions
Distance, surface, purse, race type and the written conditions of each race, plus every exotic payoff
📅 Any track, any day
Filter by track, race number or surface, or leave it blank for the whole day

Equibase publishes race data across hundreds of separate per-track pages with no clean export. This Actor turns any day and track into one normalized feed: the card with odds, jockeys and trainers before the race, finish order and payouts after it. Every row carries a clean race ID so entries and results join without any cleanup.

🐎 Who this is for

  • I am a handicapper building my own speed and pace models, matching jockey and trainer assignments from the entry card against official results and payouts instead of copying numbers off Equibase by hand.
  • I am a DFS player researching morning-line odds and jockey and trainer combos across every card running today, without opening dozens of individual track pages.
  • I am a horse racing content site publishing daily results and payout recaps, pulling structured data instead of re-typing chart summaries.
  • I am a betting-model builder backtesting strategies against historical exotic payouts, feeding results straight into my spreadsheet or database.

🚀 How to use it

STEP 1
Pick a date and track
Enter a race date and, optionally, one or more Equibase track codes.
STEP 2
Choose entries, results, or both
Pull the morning-line card, the finished results, or both in one run.
STEP 3
Get clean race rows
Every race lands as a dataset row, ready to filter, sort, or export.

Leave the track code field empty to pull the tracks racing on the chosen day. In Both mode each race comes as an entries row and a results row, and the raceId field joins them.

❓ FAQ

Does it get blocked?

Equibase runs bot detection on its race pages. This Actor is built to clear it automatically on every run, so you do not need to configure anything. If Equibase does stop a run completely, the run ends with a clear message and you are not charged.

What is the difference between entries rows and results rows?

Entries rows are the race card: horses, post positions, jockeys, trainers, owners, pedigree and morning-line odds. Results rows are the outcome: finish order, winning time, track condition and payouts. In Both mode you get both for every race, and raceId joins them.

Do I need an Equibase account or API key?

No. Every field this Actor returns is public race data. There is no login, account, or API key involved.

Can I pull a past day or only today?

Both. Leave the date blank for today, or pick any day. Results exist for races that have run; Equibase keeps entries only for recent and upcoming days, so use Results for older dates.
