- 🛡️ Poster trust score: every job now includes the poster's public Hacker News account karma, account age, submission count, and bio, plus a derived 0-100 trust score, so you can tell an established community member's posting from a brand-new account. New
minPosterTrust input filter and a dedicated Poster Trust dataset view.
- ⚡ Runs are dramatically faster: comments are now fetched in bulk instead of one request per comment.
- 🐛 Fixed the default run returning job posts from years-old threads instead of the current month. Auto-discovery now correctly finds the most recent "Who is Hiring?" post.
- 🐛 A dollar figure anywhere in a post (including a company's stated revenue or funding raised) could be reported as the job's salary. Salary is now only extracted when it's clearly tied to compensation.
- 🐛 A company's own website link, or a job's role, could end up in the wrong field (for example, a URL appearing as the location). Field extraction is now more accurate.
- 🐛 The same technology could appear under different spellings (for example "Typescript" and "TypeScript" as separate values). Technologies are now consistently named.
- 🛡️ Personal email addresses left by applicants replying to a post are no longer extracted; only the original job posting's contact details are.
- 🛡️ A failure partway through no longer discards job postings already collected from other threads or posts in the same run.
- 🧹 Corrected the Store price shown in the Actor description, which was quoting an old rate no longer in effect.
- 📦 Raw HTML comment text is now opt-in (
includeRawText, off by default) instead of always included alongside the cleaned text, roughly halving the size of a typical row.
- ✨ Added unmasked company names, hiring contacts, and full job post descriptions from Who's Hiring posts.
- 🛠️ Patched and unblocked listing selectors to bypass recent forum style shifts.
- 🛡️ Upgraded proxy rotation configuration to achieve 100% cloud run success.
