RSS Feed Monitor

Read many RSS and Atom feeds in one run and get every item in the same format.

What it does

Feed discovery: give a site page and the Actor uses the feed it links to.
Keyword filters on title and summary.
Only new results: turn on onlyNew and schedule the Actor to get only what earlier runs did not deliver. Nothing already delivered is charged again.
Bad inputs don't fail the run: each input's status is listed in SUMMARY in the key-value store, and failed inputs produce no charged results.

Each result has these fields, plus fetchedAt. Fields without a value are null.

feedUrl: Feed URL.
feedTitle: Feed title.
title: Item title.
link: Item link.
author: Author.
publishedAt: Publication time, UTC.
summary: Summary.
content: Full content, if the feed has it.
categories: Categories.

Pricing

$0.0005 per feed item returned, plus $0.001 per run. If you set a maximum cost per run, the Actor stops at that limit.

Limits

A feed usually lists only its latest items, so older ones aren't available.
Feeds that block automated clients are listed as failed in SUMMARY.
