RSS & Atom Feed Normalizer
Normalize public RSS 2.0, Atom, RDF, and podcast feeds into one stable dataset schema. Each row preserves feed and source evidence while standardizing IDs, dates, authors, categories, summaries, content, and enclosures.
Reliability and safety
- Public HTTP(S) only; localhost, credentials, private IP literals, private DNS answers, and unsafe redirects are blocked.
- Inputs are capped at 100 feeds and 1,000 items per feed, with a 5 MB response limit and deterministic timeouts.
- Malformed feeds produce truthful failure rows without hiding successful feeds.
- Duplicate entry IDs or URLs are collapsed within each feed.
Charging
PAY_PER_EVENT uses a one-time Actor-start event plus exactly one feed-parsed event per successfully parsed feed, independent of the number of entry rows stored. Only successful feed parses are charged. Failed fetches, malformed feeds, duplicate entries, and the OUTPUT summary are not charged.
Example
{"feedUrls":["https://blog.apify.com/rss/"],"maxFeeds":1,"maxItemsPerFeed":5,"includeRaw":false}
The Actor does not claim ownership of feed content. Use it only where collection and reuse are permitted.
