๐ฏ LinkedIn Events Participants Extractor
Automatically extract complete attendee lists from LinkedIn events
๐ What It Does
This tool automatically joins LinkedIn events you specify and extracts all participant data: names, companies, job positions, locations, and profile links.
๐ก Before you run this scraper
Some datasets like this one are already available ready-to-use on bananalitycs.com โ download instantly or request custom delivery.
๐ผ What It's For
- Lead Generation: Find potential clients at industry events
- Networking: Build your professional network
- Market Research: Analyze who attends competitor events
- Recruiting: Find interesting candidates
๐ ๏ธ Simplified Setup
โ ๏ธ IMPORTANT: Use Chrome, Brave or Edge (Firefox is NOT supported)
The Actor drives a real Chrome browser internally, so cookies and User Agent must be extracted from a Chromium-based browser โ Chrome, Brave, or Edge, as long as they match each other. Firefox cookies/UA will not authenticate: LinkedIn detects the mismatch between your declared browser and the Actor's actual Chrome fingerprint and forces a re-login.
Step 1: Access LinkedIn
- Open Chrome, Brave, or Edge
- Go to LinkedIn.com and log in
- Make sure you're fully logged in
Step 2: Extract Cookies
Easy Method (Recommended):
- Install the "Cookie Editor" extension
- While on LinkedIn, click the extension
- Export all cookies as JSON
- Copy the JSON into the Actor
Manual Method:
- On LinkedIn, press F12
- Go to Application/Storage โ Cookies โ linkedin.com
- Copy all cookies (especially
li_atandJSESSIONID)
Step 3: Get User Agent
- Still using the same browser, go to: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/what-is-my-user-agent
- Copy the "User Agent" string that appears
- Paste it into the Actor configuration
Step 4: Add Event URLs
Collect LinkedIn event URLs in this format:
- โ
https://www.linkedin.com/events/1234567890/
๐ What You Get
For each event you receive:
{"url": "https://www.linkedin.com/events/1234567890/","title": "Event Name","participants_count": 150,"participants": [{"name": "John Smith","title": "CEO at TechCorp","location": "New York, NY","profile_url": "https://linkedin.com/...","profile_image_url": "https://media.licdn.com/..."}]}
โ ๏ธ Important Notes
- You'll receive email notifications from LinkedIn when the Actor joins/leaves events (this is normal)
- Use the same browser (Chrome, Brave, or Edge) for the entire process: login, cookie extraction, and User Agent
- The same browser must be used for both operations
- Respect LinkedIn's Terms of Service
- Use only for legitimate business purposes
๐จ Troubleshooting
Login Issues:
- Re-extract cookies from a fresh LinkedIn session
- Make sure the User Agent is taken from the same browser as the cookies
Actor Not Working:
- Check that cookies and User Agent came from the same browser
- Verify that event URLs are correct
- Check the logs for specific errors
Remember: cookies and User Agent must match the same browser!
