All notable changes to Steam Store Scraper are recorded here. The newest release is first.
- Docs: related Actors listed; input field descriptions clarified for AI agents.
- Fixed: a game that Steam's live "top sellers" (or another list) reorders between the separate pages a run fetches is now returned once per list, at its first rank, not once per page it happened to appear on (you were charged for the repeat).
- Results whose text mentions "captcha" or "access denied" (a server description, a game or shop product name, a headline) are no longer mistaken for an anti-bot block, which could fail a good run.
First release (private staging).
- Steam game data from app IDs, store/community/SteamDB URLs, store search URLs, a search keyword, and the store lists top sellers, popular new releases, specials and popular upcoming.
- One row per app: price, regular price, discount and currency for any store country; release date; developers and publishers; genres and categories; platforms; Metacritic score; review score with total positive and negative review counts; current players; languages; DLC; age ratings; header image and screenshots.
- Public keyless Steam endpoints only: no login, no API key, no browser.
- Every row carries
status, so an unknown app or an empty search (not_found) and a failure (error) are told apart from real data. Only ok rows are charged.
- Aggregate review counts only: no review texts, no user names.
