Y Combinator Company Profiles with Socials and Founded Year

One row per Y Combinator company, read from its own page. No key and no login.
What the directory search does not have
The YC directory is an Algolia index. It carries the name, batch, status, stage, team size, industries, tags, regions and website, and that is all. Every field below exists only on the company's own page, which is why this Actor opens them:
Founding year. City, city slug and country. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Crunchbase and GitHub. The YC group partner by name. Press items. The launch count and the latest launch. The real number of open jobs, which is a count of postings rather than the directory's hiring flag.
Fill rates were measured on 44 companies across four batches on 6 September 2026: LinkedIn 39, city 42, Crunchbase 24, GitHub 14, Facebook 14, group partner 22, founding year 36. So an empty social column is normal and not a failed parse.
Two caps and one expiring link
YC caps the press strip. Five items is the most that appeared on any company sampled, and no
total is published, so a company with a long press history shows its five most recent.
newsItemsShown says how many came back.
Office photos and the group partner's photo are signed links that stop working about an hour after a run. Shipping them as columns would ship dead URLs, so photos are counted rather than linked and the partner is published by name.
The filter values are words, not slugs
The batch is Summer 2026, not S26. Case does not matter, spelling does, and a value the
directory does not use returns zero companies with no explanation. Every value is checked
against the live list first, and a wrong one stops the run with the real spelling and charges
you nothing.
What one row is
One company. One page request, one row, so the maximum is both the row budget and the request
budget: a page is never opened for a row that could not be delivered. RUN_SUMMARY lists what
was read, what could not be, and complete with limitedBy.
The founders, the jobs and the launch posts each have their own Actor. This row carries their counts and the founders' names, so it is useful on its own.
Billing
Two events: a start fee charged only once profiles are returned, and a per-profile fee. A run that matches nothing costs nothing.
