Y Combinator Jobs with Pay Bands, Equity and Visa Terms

Every open job at Y Combinator companies, read company by company, with pay parsed into currency and period. The YC jobs pages ignore their own filters and cap at 50 with no total, so a landing page is a sample. Filter by batch, industry, region or role, or name the companies.

Every open job at Y Combinator companies. Title, location, role, pay, equity, visa terms, skills and the hiring manager, with the company beside them. No key and no login.

The YC jobs pages are samples, not an index

Measured on 6 September 2026. /jobs?role=design, /jobs?location=new-york and /jobs?role=eng&location=india all answer HTTP 200 with the same twenty jobs as /jobs. The query string is accepted and ignored. The path forms do filter, and they are capped: /jobs/san-francisco, /jobs/new-york and /jobs/austin each return exactly 50, and no page publishes a total to compare against.

So this Actor does not read those pages at all. It picks companies from the directory and opens each company's own jobs page, which is the only complete list YC publishes.

The hiring flag is intent, not open roles

The directory marks 1,478 companies as hiring. On a 60-company sample of those, 4 had nothing posted. On a 40-company sample without the flag, none had anything. So the flag is a good way to save requests and is not proof of an open role, and the run summary counts the companies that were marked and had nothing.

The hiring manager is on the job page and nowhere else

The company jobs page carries no hiring manager at all: none on 205 postings sampled. The job's own page carried one on 25 of 25, with a first and last name. So switching on the job page option buys you the advert text, the interview process and a named contact, at one extra request per job. No email or profile link is published anywhere on this surface.

Pay is parsed, and nothing is annualised

$119K - $252K carries no currency code. £50K - £80K GBP does. So a code appears exactly when the currency is not a dollar, and a bare dollar sign is not proof of US dollars. salaryCurrencyDeclared tells you which of the two you are looking at.

$6K - $9K / monthly is a monthly band. Read as a yearly figure it understates the pay twelvefold, so the period is its own column and no figure is converted. 118 of 205 sampled postings published no pay at all.

postedAgo is "about 2 months", not a date. YC publishes no absolute posting date on this surface, so the column keeps YC's own words rather than inventing a timestamp.

What one row is

One job. jobsOpenAtThisCompany says how many the company had open, so a row tells you whether it is one of one or one of nine. RUN_SUMMARY lists every company read, the jobs it had, what was kept, and complete with limitedBy.

Billing

Three events: a start fee charged only once jobs are returned, a per-job fee, and a separate fee for opening a job's own page, charged only when you ask for it and only when the page really returned something. A run that finds nothing costs nothing.
