💡 Tips & best practices

  • Use the exact domain as it appears on Trustpilot (www.booking.com, not booking.com) for a direct match — or use search.
  • Cap maxReviewsPerBusiness to control run size; popular businesses have tens of thousands of reviews.
  • Scrape competitors together in one run for side-by-side comparison.
  • Schedule it to monitor reputation and new reviews over time.
  • Analyse rating + text for sentiment and recurring themes.

❓ FAQ

Can I get the company's replies? Yes — companyReply contains the business's response when one exists.

Can I search by company name? Yes — add names under Search by company name and matching businesses are scraped.

How many reviews can I get? As many as the business has. Set Max reviews per business to 0 for all.

Why are residential proxies required? Trustpilot only serves its pages to genuine visitors, so residential proxies (the default) are needed for reliable collection.

In what format is the data? Structured JSON by default, exportable to CSV, Excel, HTML or via API.

📊 Output & integrations

Results are stored in a standard Apify dataset — preview as a table, export to JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML, pull via the API, or push to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier and more.
