⚠️ Current status: Yelp is actively blocking (August 2026)

Yelp has tightened its DataDome bot protection and is currently rejecting automated access from shared proxy pools, including Apify's residential proxy. Runs may return zero results. Runs still finish cleanly (they stop at a time budget rather than hanging), and you are not charged per-result for results you don't get.

If you need Yelp data today, please reach out before relying on this Actor. I'm actively working on a fix, including an option to use your own Yelp Fusion API key.

Scrape Yelp business listings by search term and location — name, star rating, review count, price range, phone and photo. No login, no API key.

Yelp is protected by DataDome bot mitigation. This actor drives a fingerprinted real browser over residential proxies, so it gets through and returns clean, structured business data.

Notes

• A residential proxy is required — Yelp's DataDome protection blocks datacenter IPs. The Actor rotates fingerprints + IPs and retries automatically. As of August 2026 DataDome is rejecting these attempts, so runs frequently return no results (see the status note above).
• maxRunSeconds caps total run time so a blocked run always ends cleanly instead of hanging.
• Paginates automatically (10 results per page) up to maxItems.
• priceRange and phone are populated only where Yelp displays them on the results page.
• Multiple locations of the same brand appear as separate rows (each has its own Yelp page).
