Give this Actor a sector keyword and/or a list of countries. It queries the
official World Bank procurement notice API
(search.worldbank.org/api/v2/procnotices - no API key, no login) for open
"Invitation for Bids" and "Request for Expressions of Interest" notices and
returns, per notice:
- project, country, buyer reference number and description, straight from the World Bank's own record
- the real bidder submission deadline date and time
- a computed days_left and a risk_level -
URGENT,WATCH,OPEN,EXPIREDorNO_DEADLINE- based on how close that deadline is - the buyer's own contact name, organization, address, email and phone so a bidder can act on the notice without opening the World Bank site
What makes this different
Checked live against the World Bank procurement search on 27 Sep 2026: every competing Actor in this space ("World Bank Procurement Notice Scraper", "World Bank Procurement Notices and Awards Scraper", "World Bank Procurement Notices & Contract Awards Scraper", and similar) extracts the raw notice fields and stops there - no deadline countdown, no urgency ranking, no direct contact surfaced as an actionable field. A user still has to open every notice and do the date math by hand to know which ones are worth chasing this week.
This Actor also queries the API's own qterm (keyword) and
project_ctry_name (country) filters server-side instead of dumping every
notice and filtering client-side, so a run against one sector/country pair
only pulls the notices that matter, and merges/de-duplicates results
across every (country x notice type) combination requested in one run.
Input
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
keyword | Sector/product keyword matched via the World Bank's own qterm search. Optional. |
countries | List of project country names (World Bank spelling). Optional - omit for worldwide. |
noticeTypes | Which notice types to include; only "Invitation for Bids" and "Request for Expressions of Interest" carry a real deadline. |
maxNoticesPerQuery | Notices fetched per (country, notice type) combination before filtering. Default 50. |
minDaysLeft | Drop notices whose deadline is closer than this (or already past). Default 0 - set negative to keep expired notices for historical analysis. |
urgentWithinDays | Threshold for the URGENT risk level (WATCH is 2x this). Default 7. |

Official, public, key-free: World Bank Procurement Notices search,
backed by https://search.worldbank.org/api/v2/procnotices. Verified live
on 27 Sep 2026 (200 OK, total: 45630 open Invitation-for-Bids notices at
the time of writing). No scraping of HTML, no login, no terms-of-service
bypass - this is the World Bank's own public search API returning JSON.
Known local-machine note
The Actor retries on http.client.IncompleteRead, a transient truncated-read
error some older TLS stacks raise against HTTPS endpoints; it is not a World
Bank API error and a retry normally succeeds.
