Padel Booking Agent (Prague)

Find and book padel courts across 10 Prague venues — just by chatting with your AI assistant.

If you live in Prague and like sport, there's a good chance you play padel with the same group of friends — and an even better chance there's a group chat where you keep trying to agree on a time, find a free court, and sort out the booking. With 10+ padel venues across the city, most of them fully booked most of the time, finding a free slot means hopping between a dozen different reservation systems and hoping something opens up.

It's the same for us. So we built this for ourselves first — and now we're sharing it. It's an MCP server: connect it to any AI assistant (Claude, Cursor, or anything that speaks MCP) and just ask, "any free padel courts Saturday afternoon?" It searches every Prague venue at once and books the one you pick — everything except paying. (We know you don't yet trust an AI with your card — so it always hands you a payment link or QR code to finish yourself. It never charges you and never spends club credit.)

How to set it up

You connect this Actor to your AI assistant as an MCP server — three steps:

1. Create a Task with your details. To make actual bookings (not just search), create a new Task with your venue logins, and toggle off any venues you want to skip. (For search only, you can leave the logins blank.)
2. Copy the Standby URL. Open the Task → Endpoints tab → copy the Standby URL. It already includes your Apify API token, which the connection needs — so make sure a token is selected on that page before you copy.
3. Paste it into your AI assistant as a custom MCP connector (e.g. Claude Desktop → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector).

And that's it — done in three steps. Now just chat: "What padel is free tonight?", "Book it," "Show my bookings," "Cancel Friday's."

Searching needs no setup or logins; you only add a club login to book there.

Costs

Pay only for what you use — $0.02 per tool call (any request: a search, a booking, a cancellation, listing your bookings, etc.).

Searching one venue or all 10 is a single call — booking a court usually costs under 10 cents.

Plus a small platform-compute cost. This runs as an Apify Standby server (the standard model for MCP Actors), so Apify also bills the compute time your server is actually up — roughly $0.10 per hour of uptime at 512 MB on the Free/Starter plan (less on higher plans). The server sleeps automatically after a few minutes idle, so for normal personal use this stays minor.

Tip — keep costs to a minimum. When an MCP connector is enabled, your AI client (e.g. Claude) periodically connects and lists the available tools, which briefly wakes the Standby server — a fraction of a cent of compute each time (no per-event charge, since no tool actually runs). If you use your AI assistant a lot but only play padel now and then, disable this connector and re-enable it when you actually want to search or book. That keeps idle compute near zero. Lowering the Standby idle timeout (Standby tab, e.g. 60–120s) reduces it further.

Notes

This Actor logs into third-party venue accounts with your own credentials, at your request, to search and book on your behalf; passwords are encrypted at rest and never logged. Use it only with accounts you own, in line with each venue's terms.
