Scrape Facebook ads library efficiently!
Why weren't impressions/reach/spend scraped for these EU ads?
Hi - I used a valid URL and got a successful build.
Unfortunately the extraction only got 120 out of ~790 results.
Moreover, it didn't scrape anything for impressionsWithIndex or reachEstimate or spend. Why is this?
Those ~790 results were all ads targeting the UK.
Did I make a bad request or are the docs just out of date?
Thanks for any help you can provide, Ethan

Many times we've seen that Ad Library's approximate result counter gives a count higher than what the UI loads. You can check this by scrolling to the bottom of all pagination and counting all library ids. If indeed much more than 120 ads load, it would show a shortcoming on our scraping approach. If not, everything is okay.

Can you please speak to the lack of impressions/reach/spend data?
Your docs imply that extractions would include that data (impressionsWithIndex && reachEstimate && spend).
All of those ~120 ads target an EU audience.

Only the FB official API returns those three parameters and some other ad targeting data. Unfortunately, official API is very limited in its result "selection", and only returns ads with impressions in EU.

If the scraper doesn't return those parameters, I'd recommend removing them from your docs for this scraper.
I know the ads I was trying to scrape have impressions in the EU, and only in the EU. Will try FB's official API instead.
Thanks for your time and your help.
