Spain Registro Mercantil Scraper

Search Spanish companies by name and pull directory metadata from einforma.com's free public profiles. Useful for KYC/KYB enrichment and Spanish B2B prospecting.

What You Get

For each company matched on einforma:

• Legal name — denomination as registered (INDITEX SA, BANCO SANTANDER S.A., etc.)
• Legal form — Forma Jurídica (Sociedad anónima, Sociedad limitada, Sociedad anónima unipersonal, Comunidad de bienes, etc.)
• Status — activa, extinguida, en concurso, en liquidación (parsed from name suffix)
• Address — Domicilio social, municipio, province, postal code
• CNAE 2009 code + description (industry classification)
• Objeto social — stated company purpose
• Last filed accounts year — most recent year of accounts deposited at the Registro Mercantil
• Has filed accounts boolean
• Profile URL — direct link to the einforma page

Search

Pass a company name, brand, or anagrama in query. einforma matches against denomination, marca, anagrama, and antigua denominación — so Inditex returns the parent (INDITEX SA / INDUSTRIA DE DISEÑO TEXTIL SA), the brand (Inditex), the e-commerce sub (FASHION RETAIL SAU), and several extinct subsidiaries.

The province input narrows results to a Spanish province by case-insensitive substring match (e.g. Madrid, Barcelona, Coruña, Valencia).

What's NOT Included

• NIF/CIF (tax ID) — einforma masks the NIF on cloud-served detail pages (e.g. shown as A286...). The output field is empty when masked.
• Capital Social, Fecha Constitución, Administradores, BORME corporate acts — present on einforma's older HTML layout but absent from the layout served to most cloud IPs. Output fields stay empty when not present (schema is forward-compatible).
• Detailed financials — revenue (Ingresos de explotación), EBITDA, net income value, total assets, equity (Patrimonio neto). All paywalled on every public Spanish company-data source we surveyed. Reserved fields are kept in the schema for forward-compatibility but stay empty.
• Beneficial Owners (UBO) — Spain's UBO registry (Registro de Titularidades Reales) is not yet a public open dataset.
• Cuentas Anuales PDFs — paid via Registradores (€6-15 each) at sede.registradores.org.

For full data including financials and unmasked NIF, customers buy an einforma report directly (€1-30 per company) or subscribe to Bureau van Dijk SABI / axesor.

Pricing

Pay-Per-Event: $0.10 per run start + $0.001 per company record.

Input

• Query Mode: by_name (only mode supported in v1)
• Search Query: free-text — company name, brand, or anagrama
• Province Filter: optional — narrows to a Spanish province
• Include Last-Accounts Metadata: extracts latest_accounts_year and has_filed_accounts
• Include Most-Recent BORME Act: extracts the single most-recent BORME corporate act (when einforma surfaces it on the layout served)
• Max Items: 1-20 (einforma returns at most 20 candidates per search)
• Proxy: defaults to Apify residential ES proxy (required — einforma rate-limits aggressively per-IP)

Limitations

• v1 supports by_name only. NIF/CIF, administrator, and CNAE-code search modes require JS-rendered AJAX search forms on einforma; out of scope for this version.
• einforma returns up to 20 results per search; pagination is JS-driven and not implemented.
• Field availability depends on which einforma HTML layout is served. The actor handles both known layouts and emits whichever fields are extractable; missing fields are empty rather than absent from the record.
