Deliver to zip code/location

What deliver to zip code/location is set when the products are being scraped? Could it be an option to make this an input parameter? The price of most of the products relevant to me only show after the location is set to a valid deliver to location.

Hi, thanks for opening this issue!

Currently, we don't enforce the location at all, although we use proxies based on the used Amazon domain. E.g., for the .com domain we use US proxies, which get assigned a random US locations by Amazon.

We are planning to add the selectable option to the scraper, however it's pretty complex, and it requires more requests to work, thus increasing the scraping costs. Another user issue is open about this on a different Actor, and it is also saved in our backlog, so we will prioritize it more thanks to your feedback :)

I will keep you updated here, thanks!

Thanks for your response. I am not entirely sure, we are talking about the same thing. Just to be clear, I am referring to the Amazon Feature to set a delivery location (country or zip code) not necessarily a browser setting. For a lot of products on Amazon, the price is shown/not shown or differs depending on the set deliver to location.

Yes, exactly :) As said, we do not have that feature yet and are working on a way to get it into this scraper.

Currently, it's randomly assigned to us by Amazon, based on the used proxy (basically, to avoid blocking, we are switching IP addresses).

Hi again,

thanks for your patience. Unfortunately this specific feature is currently not a priority for us, so I'm gonna close the issue for now. We might still implement it in the future, if more users express the need.

Thanks a lot of the feedback though!
