Coles & Woolworths Scraper - Prices & Half Price Specials

Scrape Coles and Woolworths (Australia) grocery prices in one run and one format. Search both supermarkets by keyword, pull this week's specials or only the half price deals, or paste any Coles / Woolworths product, category, specials or search link. Every product comes back with price, was price, saving, unit price (per kg / L / 100 g), half-price and special flags, multibuy offers, availability, department and category, image and link, plus barcode and star ratings for Woolworths. No login, no browser, no API key.

Coles and Woolworths prices in one run

• Both chains in one schema: the same columns for Coles and Woolworths, so price comparison is a simple join on name, brand or size.
• Specials built in: specials: "halfprice" returns the current half-price list of both stores; "all" returns the whole specials catalogue. New specials start each Wednesday.
• Fast and light: plain HTTP on the stores' own JSON data (no headless browser); 80 products in about 15 seconds in our tests.
• Reliable by design: each search, category or link is handled on its own, so one refused page never stops the run, and the run summary lists what was saved per source.

Half price specials and Woolworths specials

specials: "halfprice" pulls the current half-price list of both stores, "all" the whole specials catalogue (half price, multibuy, lower shelf price, online-only). Specials change every Wednesday.

• stores: woolworths, coles or both (default both) for search queries and specials.
• maxItemsPerSource: products per query and store, category or specials list (0 = everything).

source tells which search, category or specials list the row came from; the run's OUTPUT record lists found / saved / error per source.

Use it as a Coles / Woolworths API (schedule, webhooks, Google Sheets)

Pricing

Pay per product saved (see the Pricing tab), plus a small start fee per run. Nothing is charged for pages that return no products. Use maxItems or the run's maximum cost to cap spending.

Notes and limitations

• Prices are the online prices of each store's default location; store-specific prices and stock are not included yet.
• Coles only serves Australian visitors, so Coles requests use Apify's Australian residential proxy (the default proxyConfiguration). Woolworths goes direct and switches to the proxy only if refused.
• Barcodes and ratings are published by Woolworths only; for Coles these fields are empty.
• Very large categories can be split into sub-category links for faster runs.
