Apple App Store Metadata API

Unaffiliated, third-party Actor. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. "App Store" and "iTunes" are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Give it search terms or bundle IDs and a storefront country; get back structured catalog metadata for the matching iOS/iPadOS apps -- title, bundle ID, price, currency, category, content rating, aggregate rating, rating count, release and current-version dates, app size, minimum OS version, and the app's own store description. Sourced entirely from Apple's public iTunes Search and Lookup API (itunes.apple.com/search, itunes.apple.com/lookup), the same interface Apple documents for third-party use in building search and catalog features on top of its store.

This Actor deliberately does not return the developer/seller name, the developer's Apple ID, screenshots, icons, or previews. The first is dropped because Apple's own data shows individual sole-trader developers publish under their own personal name (confirmed empirically), which this factory will not ship without narrow, WORKPLACE-only handling it cannot yet justify at this data's scale; the second because Apple's promotional-asset terms restrict reuse of icons and previews to badge-proximate promotional placements, which is not this product's use case. It also does not scrape reviews, which carry a reviewer's chosen display name.
