Data notes

• Monthly snapshot: Companies House publishes the full register on the 1st of each month; this Actor is rebuilt from each new snapshot. Companies incorporated after the snapshot date appear in the next month's data. dataAsOf shows the snapshot date. The default date range is the 30 days before the snapshot.
• Coverage: companies incorporated in roughly the last 6 months (200 days before the snapshot) that are still on the register.
• Company-level data only: no directors, officers, persons with significant control, or "care of" names.
• Registered office address is the company's official address, which may be an accountant or formation agent rather than the trading address.
• Industry: companies choose their own SIC codes at registration; some use broad or dormant codes (e.g. 99999 Dormant Company).
