New Business Licences: Fresh Edmonton Business Leads

Every business that just received its first City of Edmonton business licence: restaurants, cafés, clinics, contractors, auto shops, retailers and home-based businesses. Reach them in their first weeks for about 2¢ each.

The Actor pulls from the City of Edmonton's official business licence records. It uses the city's original issue date, so it returns licences issued to a business for the first time and never renewals. That's about 650 new businesses a month, around 300 of them commercial storefronts and offices. Each lead has the operating name, licence categories, address, neighbourhood, ward, business improvement area and first-issue date. When a business holds several categories, they're merged into one lead.
