Every new home, ADU, apartment and commercial building permitted in the City of LA, within days. About 2¢ a lead.
This feed comes from the LA Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Building Permits Issued dataset, filtered to permit type Bldg-New, so alterations, repairs, additions and pools are left out. That's about 330 new-building permits a month: ADUs, single-family homes, duplexes, apartments and commercial. Each lead has the address, use, valuation, square footage, dwelling units, height, construction type, zone, APN, council district and community plan area.

FAQ
Where does the data come from? The "Building and Safety – Building Permits Issued from 2020 to Present" dataset (pi9x-tg5x) on data.lacity.org, the City of LA's official open-data portal, refreshed daily. Does it include contractor or phone info? LADBS doesn't publish contractor or applicant contacts in this dataset. When the building is finished, our Los Angeles Certificates of Occupancy actor returns the contractor, license and applicant for the same permit. Is it only new construction? Yes. Only permit type "Bldg-New" is returned. Each permit number appears once. Does it cover all of LA County? No. Only the City of Los Angeles (LADBS jurisdiction), not other cities or unincorporated county areas. How do I avoid duplicates? Keep "Only new since last run" on, and use a different dedupe store name for each separate feed.
