We have checked the websites scraped in a short test run and discovered that email addresses from the scraped sites that show an email do not return anything. Is this correct? We were under the impression that this would find emails.

The way how this scraper works is that it searches on Google for emails mentioned on Clutch.co with a given email domain. So in order for the scraper to work correctly you should provide and email domain. If you don't have a specific one, I recommend gmail.com This approach is not fool proof, but it's the best that can be done.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was under the impression that would only return gmail.com by doing so. In get what you mean, so. There is still a possibility that it it may not work for our requirements but I am happy to try again, is there any chance you can reset the 2 hour trial please? If it works, we join, if not we cant. I only ran your software once as it appeared not to work due to my error.

That's correct, it will indeed only return gmail.com in that case, but inputting an email domain is crucial for it to work. It's not within my control to reset the trial. Changing the trial period alsof takes 7 days to take effect. Possibly you can use another account to test again?
