Full News Content Missing for Trending Articles

Hello guy： I‘ve been using the Reuters API and noticed that when retrieving news articles using the selectReutersPageType: "rn-get-articles-by-trends", the recent articles only contain summaries, while older articles seem to provide the full news content.
Could you clarify whether this is an intentional limitation or a technical issue? If possible, please consider updating the API to provide full article content for trending news, similar to other article retrieval methods.

Hi, thanks a lot for reporting this issue! 🙏 The behavior you observed was due to the way Reuters publishes content — they often release a draft version first and then update it shortly after. In some cases, our scraper was picking up the initial draft instead of the finalized article. We've implemented a delay mechanism to ensure we now capture the final version of each article. Starting with newly published trending articles, you should see full content just like with other endpoints. If you notice any further issues or have questions, feel free to reach out anytime.
