🕒 Only Recent Articles

Set Published within to Last hour, Last day, Last week or Last month to get only articles published in that period before the run starts. The scraper stops paging as soon as the category reaches older articles, so short periods finish quickly and you only pay for articles inside the window. maxItemsPerUrl still caps each category: busy categories like Markets publish about 70 articles a day, so raise it for Last week or Last month.

Result limits and blocked requests

maxItemsPerUrl defaults to 100 articles per category when omitted. Set a higher positive integer explicitly for larger archives. The run’s remaining charging budget can impose a smaller total limit across all categories. Duplicate category URLs are processed once.

To limit spending when Bloomberg is unavailable, the scraper stops after three consecutive blocked responses. A failed or incomplete scrape is reported as failed; any articles already saved remain available in the dataset. A valid empty category is not an error.
