Find where to launch your product. Describe what you are launching and get a ranked list of places to submit it: startup directories, product launch sites, newsletters, communities, subreddits, marketplaces, press and review pages, and, if you want them, curated GitHub lists. Each row carries the submission link, the price, whether the listing gives a dofollow link, who the place is for and what it accepts, and a fit score against your product. Each place is checked live on the day you run it: is the submission page up, has it moved to another site, is the domain parked, does it ask you to log in, does it show a submit form, what prices it shows, and the newest date on the page. A Tranco popularity rank is added per site.
Features
- 359 places to submit, plus 1,556 curated GitHub lists, from the public domain awesome-submitlist catalog (synced weekly by its maintainer), read fresh on every run.
- Fit score against your product. Your description, keywords, and categories are matched against each place's description, audience, and rules.
- Checked live today. Up, moved to another site, parked, gone, or down; submit form found; login first; prices shown; newest date on the page. A dead or parked listing in the source list shows up here the day you run it.
- Tranco popularity rank per site, from the daily Tranco top one million list.
- Filters. Kinds of places, free only, dofollow only, and a minimum fit score.
- Only new places. On a schedule, a place an earlier run returned is skipped and not charged, so each run returns places added to the list since.
- Cost guards. Max places per run and a max charge per run.
Where the data comes from
The places come from awesome-submitlist by Alvin (submitlist.io), which is public domain under CC0 1.0. The actor reads its data/destinations.json from GitHub on every run, and falls back to a copy bundled with the actor (synced 2026-10-26) when GitHub does not answer; the run summary row says which was used. Name, links, description, audience, rules, price, price note, link type, categories, and subreddit facts come from that list. The list also carries Ahrefs Domain Rating and traffic figures, which Ahrefs licenses separately; this actor drops them and gives the Tranco rank instead.
The live check, the fit score, and the rank are this actor's own work. Each place's submission page (or website) is read once, directly, and the site's robots.txt is read first and obeyed: a page it disallows is not read, and the row says so. A site that refuses a direct request is read through the Apify proxy. Subreddits are not read; their member counts and promotion rules come from the list. The Tranco list (tranco-list.eu) is a research ranking of the most popular sites, built from several public lists.
Measured on 2026-10-28 from the Apify platform: all 359 places in 245 seconds: 255 pages up, 2 not found, 39 behind a browser check, 19 disallowed by robots.txt (those 58 rows are free), 44 subreddits not read, and 248 site domains carried a Tranco rank. A 25 place run took 19 seconds.

Pricing
Pay per event. You pay for place rows and for the run start. The run summary row, input refusal rows, place rows marked partial (the live check could not read the page), and places skipped with Only new places on are free. A place found down, gone, or parked is charged: that is a finding.
| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
destination-row, one place delivered | $0.005 | $0.00475 | $0.0045 | $0.00425 |
apify-actor-start, once per run (one per GB of memory; the default 512 MB is one) | $0.0015 | $0.0015 | $0.0015 | $0.0015 |
Per 1,000 place rows: $5.00 on the free plan, $4.25 on Gold.
Free plan cap: 1.50 USD of evaluation a month, about 300 place rows. Any paid Apify plan removes the cap, and it resets on the 1st. The run stops before a charge that passes your maximum charge per run in Apify or your max_charge_usd.
Mamba Labs pays the platform costs of your run, Apify proxy traffic included.
Usage examples
The 25 best fits for a B2B SaaS launch.
{ "product_description": "AI meeting notes tool for B2B sales teams", "categories": ["saas", "ai"], "max_rows": 25 }
Free, dofollow directories and launch sites only.
{ "types": ["directory", "product-launch-site"], "free_only": true, "dofollow_only": true }
A weekly schedule that returns only places added to the list.
{ "only_new": true, "state_key": "new-launch-places", "max_rows": 200 }
Read the rows with GET https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/{datasetId}/items.
Clay. Run the actor from a Clay HTTP column or the Apify integration and map the flat columns. Every input is read as text, the way Clay sends it: numbers as text such as "3", yes or no inputs as "true" or "false" (yes, no, 1, and 0 also work), and a list as one comma separated string. A value that does not parse gets the free input_invalid row, not a failed run.
MCP. The Mamba Labs MCP server @mambalabsdev/mcp-launch-directory-list-builder exposes the tool build_launch_directory_list to Claude and other MCP clients.
Error handling
| Case | What you get |
|---|---|
| Input that cannot run (an unknown kind or category, a minimum fit score with nothing to score by) | One free row, row_type input_refusal, row_status error, and error_reason starting with input_invalid: that says what to fix. The run succeeds and nothing else is charged |
| A page behind a browser check, or disallowed by robots.txt | The place row with list data, row_status partial, free |
| The source list on GitHub does not answer | The bundled copy is used and the run summary row says so |
| The Tranco list does not answer | Ranks are left empty and the run summary row says so |
| No place matches your filters | A free run summary row, row_status no_results |
| No new places with Only new places on | A free run summary row, row_status no_change |
Limitations
- The list's facts (price, link type, rules) are what its maintainer recorded. The live check confirms the page and shows the prices it lists today; it does not submit anything or confirm the link type on a live listing.
- Many places in the list have price and link type
unknown. Free only and dofollow only keep only the places marked so. - The fit score is word matching, not a judgment of quality. Read the rules column before you submit.
- The newest date on the page is the newest date the page prints, which is a sign of activity, not proof of it.
- Subreddits are not checked live.
