Clutch.co Scraper — Agencies, Reviews, Emails & Rich Profiles
Turn any Clutch.co listing or company URL into clean, structured data — 30+ fields per agency, including ratings, reviews, pricing, firmographics, phone, full postal address, verified business-registration data, social links, and optional contact emails. Pure HTTP, reliable at scale, JSON or CSV out.

🧠 NEW: AI Pain-Point Analysis — client reviews → agency intel
Flip on painPointAnalysis (together with includeCompanyReviews) and the scraper doesn't just hand you reviews — it hands you what an agency's clients actually complain about, and what wins them over. After scraping, one AI pass per agency clusters every client review into ranked complaint themes (communication, missed deadlines, budget overruns, quality, project management), each with severity and how often it recurs — plus standout strengths, dealbreaker signals, and quick wins:
ChopDawg.com, 11 client reviews (real run) → zero recurring complaints across diverse budgets · strengths: end-to-end mobile design + development, strong post-launch support · quick wins: testimonials on maintenance are under-communicated; publish timeline/budget case studies.
For weaker profiles you get the full complaint teardown; for 5-star agencies it verifies the clean record and finds what's under-communicated — either way, one painPointAnalysis row per agency, straight from real client reviews. Vet a vendor shortlist in one run, or benchmark competitors' weak spots before a pitch. Paid Apify plans only; billed per review analyzed (a typical 60-review analysis ≈ $0.05).
Why use this scraper?
- Deep, usable output — 30+ fields per company, not just a name and a rating: ratings, reviews, hourly rate, min. project size, employee size, phone, full postal address, resolved website, social links, service lines, full bio, legal business entity, and payment/credit filings.
- Verified company data — where Clutch surfaces it, you get the registered legal entity (name, jurisdiction, formation date, status) and credit/legal-filing source — great for due diligence and enrichment.
- Real review text — flip on
includeCompanyReviewsto pull the full review objects per agency (reviewer, rating, project details, quotes), not just a count. - Contact emails (optional) —
enrichEmailsfinds a contact email + resolved website for each agency, billed only when an email is actually found — never for a miss. - Buyer leads (optional) —
extractBuyerLeadsflips the data around: every review is written by a company that hired the agency, so we mine each one into a structured B2B lead — the buyer's company, role, industry, size, location, plus the project budget, category and length. A ready-made list of companies that provably paid for a service, with budgets. Billed per lead. - Reliable, pure HTTP — no headless browser and no third-party CAPTCHA/CF-bypass service; runs stay fast and dependable across large listings.
- Any Clutch URL — a category/directory listing, a filtered search, or a single company profile. Paste the URL, get rows.
Overview
The actor emits one flat row per company. Point it at a Clutch listing (e.g. a directory or a filtered category) and it paginates the listing, opens each company profile, and returns a structured record. Two optional add-ons enrich each row:
includeCompanyReviews: true→ adds the fullreviews[]array per company.enrichEmails: true→ addscontactEmail, contactWebsite, and anemailEnrichmentdetail object.extractBuyerLeads: true→ adds abuyerLeads[]array per company — one structured lead per review (the client who hired the agency, with project budget/industry/size).
Output is available as JSON, CSV, Excel, or via the Apify API/dataset.
Supported inputs
| Input URL kind | Example | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Category / directory listing | https://clutch.co/us/agencies/creative | Every company on the listing (paginated), one row each |
| Filtered / search listing | https://clutch.co/agencies?related_services=... | Same, honoring the listing's filters |
| Single company profile | https://clutch.co/profile/ultrashield-technology | That one company as a single row |
You can mix multiple start URLs in one run; each listing URL gets its own maxItems limit.
Use cases
| Audience | What they use it for |
|---|---|
| Sales / lead-gen | Build targeted B2B prospect lists of agencies by service, size, budget, and location — with contact emails. |
| Market research | Benchmark pricing (hourly rate, min. project size), size, and service mix across a category. |
| Competitive intelligence | Track ratings, review volume, and positioning of agencies in your space. |
| Recruiting / partnerships | Find and vet service providers by verified firmographics and legal-entity data. |
| Data enrichment | Append Clutch profile + registration data to an existing company list. |
How it works
- Paste any Clutch URL — a category listing, a filtered search, or a single profile.
- Listing pagination — the actor walks every page of the listing up to your
maxItems. - Profile parsing — each company profile is fetched over pure HTTP and parsed into 24 structured fields.
- Optional reviews — with
includeCompanyReviews, the full review objects are attached. - Optional email enrichment — with
enrichEmails, a contact email + resolved website is discovered per company (billed only on a hit). - Emit — one clean row per company to your Apify dataset, exportable as JSON/CSV/Excel.

Example input
{"startUrls": [{ "url": "https://clutch.co/us/agencies/creative" }],"includeCompanyReviews": true,"enrichEmails": false,"maxItems": 200,"proxy": { "useApifyProxy": true, "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"] }}
Output overview
Each row is a single company. Scalar fields (name, rating, pricing, size, location) sit at the top level; richer structures (profileDetails, serviceLines, businessEntity, paymentLegalFilings, socialMediaLinks, locations, and — when enabled — reviews) are nested objects/arrays.
Output sample
Real row (shortened; nested arrays truncated for readability):
{"name": "Manifesto Agency","url": "https://clutch.co/profile/manifesto-agency","rating": 4.9,"reviewCount": 28,"verified": false,"employeeSize": "10 - 49","bio": "Manifesto is a courage-led brand agency with offices in Nashville…",// phone + structured address (schema.org microdata):"telephone": "9712257780","streetAddress": "628 N Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202, USA","city": "Milwaukee","region": "WI","postalCode": "53202","country": "US",// resolved to the real domain (not a Clutch redirect):"websiteUrl": "http://www.manifestoagency.com/","socialMediaLinks": [ "… 4 links (LinkedIn, X, …) …" ],"locations": [ "… 3 office locations …" ],"profileDetails": { "employees": "10 - 49", "founded": "Founded 2011", "languages": "1 Language", "timezones": "7 Timezones" },"serviceLines": [ "… 4 service lines with % split …" ],// registered legal entity + credit filing (where Clutch surfaces them):"businessEntity": {"name": "Manifesto, LLC","source": "Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions","jurisdictionOfFormation": "Wisconsin","dateOfFormation": "May 20, 2011","status": "Active"},"paymentLegalFilings": { "source": "Creditsafe", "lastUpdated": "December 1, 2021" }// with "includeCompanyReviews": true → "reviews": [ … full review objects … ]// with "enrichEmails": true → "contactEmail", "contactWebsite", "emailEnrichment"// with "extractBuyerLeads": true → "buyerLeads": [ … see below … ]}
With extractBuyerLeads: true, each row also carries a buyerLeads[] array — one lead per review, describing the company that hired this agency:
{"rowType": "buyer_lead","buyerCompany": "Mindful","buyerRole": "Creative Director","buyerIndustry": "Business services","buyerSize": "201-500 Employees","buyerLocation": "Nashville, Tennessee","projectCategory": "Video Production","projectBudget": "$50,000 to $199,999","projectLength": "Apr. - May 2023","rating": 5,"reviewDate": "Jun 29, 2023","verified": true,"hiredAgency": "Slow Clap Productions","agencyProfileUrl": "https://clutch.co/profile/slow-clap-productions"}

FAQ
How do I get all companies from a listing?
Set maxItems high (the default is 10,000) and pass the listing URL — the actor paginates the whole listing automatically. For very large categories, raise maxItems and let it run.
A big run ran out of memory — what do I do?
Memory auto-scales with your inputs, but very large multi-URL runs with reviews enabled are heavier. Increase the actor's memory in the run options, split the work across multiple start URLs/runs, or scrape without includeCompanyReviews first and enrich later.
How is email enrichment billed?
Only when an email is actually found. Misses are never charged. Each found email adds contactEmail, contactWebsite, and an emailEnrichment detail object to the row.
Do I need reviews for every run?
No — includeCompanyReviews is off by default (faster, lighter). Turn it on when you need the full review text per agency.
Can I scrape a single company profile?
Yes — pass the profile URL directly (e.g. https://clutch.co/profile/<agency>) and you get that one company as a row.
What formats can I export? JSON, CSV, Excel, or via the Apify API/dataset — standard Apify output.
Do I need to configure a proxy? Apify Residential is preconfigured and recommended. You can override it in the input.
