Recent review fetching

Hello,
I'm currently using your API to fetch reviews, but I'm noticing that the results include reviews with very random dates, some of which are quite old. For my use case, I only need the most recent reviews — specifically from the last 7 days.
Could you please let me know:
Is there a way to filter reviews by date, such as "only reviews from the past 1 week"?
If not directly, can you suggest any parameters or fields I can use to implement this filtering on my end?
Does the API return reviews in any specific order (e.g., most recent first), or is the order random?

Hey mate, I guess what can help for sure is monitoring mode, check in UI in reviews section: 'Run in monitoring mode where only newly reviews compared to previous runs will be scraped' in this case you will scrape only new items...

I’ve just started fetching data using your API. I fetched 100 results as a starting point, but unfortunately, I did not receive the most recent reviews.
I’m currently using your API to fetch reviews. I would like to clarify if there’s a way to retrieve only the most recent reviews, specifically from the last 7 days.
Right now, the API returns reviews in what seems to be a random order, and I have to fetch a large number of records just to find recent ones — which is inefficient.
My key questions:
Is there a way to sort reviews by date (newest first)?
Can I apply a filter to fetch only reviews from the last 7 days, so I don't have to download all older data?
I’m trying to avoid fetching the entire review history and only focus on the latest content. Please let me know if there's a recommended way to do this using your API.
Thank you!

I'll add a date for reviews, and I'll try to include something related to the SORTING issue. I'll let you know when it’s ready; if not today, then probably tomorrow.

Thank you for the update!
I’ll wait for the new version with the date and sorting support. Please do let me know once it's live — whether today or tomorrow.
Also, I had a quick follow-up question: Is it possible to retrieve total insights along with the review data? Specifically:
Total number of reviews Overall rating (average)
This would really help in summarizing the data more effectively on our side.
Thanks again for your support!

hey mate, I added date and sort options for reviews for this actor: https://apify.com/memo23/glassdoor-scraper-ppr , please check and let me know

I noticed that the new feature has been added to the Pay-as-you-go version of the API, but I’m currently using the Rented API version for my integration: https://console.apify.com/organization/Zjf2abAaqfSnsRiGZ/actors/cAbCkTzBPP0HFO50f/input
Could you please enable this feature for the rented version as well?
Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

hey mate it is added, please test and let me know how it goes? also do you have any other needs or even scraper?
nitin84india
I’ve tested the changes, and everything is working properly now — thank you for the quick support!
One additional question: Is it possible to fetch the total number of reviews and the overall rating of a company (not individual review ratings, but the aggregate/summary data)?
This would be helpful for providing a complete overview alongside the detailed reviews.

If you enable that checkbox for company reviews, you'll get everything. Basically, I'm scraping the overview/snapshot page. Let me know if you have any issues finding it. I would also appreciate it if you could leave a good review for this scraper. Thanks.

Hi,
I’ve enabled the checkbox and successfully received the overall rating, but I’m still not seeing the total number of reviews in the response.
I’ve attached a screenshot for your reference. Could you please check if the total review count is available or if anything else needs to be configured?
Thanks again for your quick help!

It is there actually, look for that number in output, then of course you need to enable that checkbox, if it fails send me your run url from apify so I can investigate

hey mate, let me know if you have found it?
