Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! Just double-check the link you provided. Right now, it looks like this: https://www.ycombinator.com/launches?tag=B2B

As mentioned in the description: https://console.apify.com/actors/wHFYMA8uTMrmdhjfK/information/latest/readme Links with filters from the main Y Combinator Directory— https://www.ycombinator.com/companies — are what you need.

So, please go to https://www.ycombinator.com/companies search using the required filters, and once you are done, copy the full URL from the address bar and paste it in the input.

Is there also a way to scrape one of the other Y combinator pages (having the Job post site and the Launchpad site in mind to scrape regularly)?

Would also love a way to limit results / output

Yeah, we're planning to make it possible to get data for job posts separately. But why are you also interested in Launchpad?

As an example, I attached a JSON file with a sample of the data we got from this link: https://www.ycombinator.com/companies?batch=Spring%202025&isHiring=true&regions=America%20%2F%20Canada

What data from Launchpad would be important for you to receive—upvotes?

Please go to the Input page, open 'Run options,' and select the desired maximum number of results in the 'Maximum charged results' field.

yes upvotes would be a nice to have. Do you know a way to include the sort by launch date in the search? I want to scrape 100 newest results monthly but in the search the sorting doesnt come up: https://www.ycombinator.com/companies?industry=B2B&team_size=%5B%221%22%2C%2250%22%5D

  • the launchpad is sorted by date by default

Honestly, I’d be happy if Y Combinator added new companies every month; I think you get what I mean. But they only bring in new companies four times a year (it used to be twice a year before this).

You can read about it on their official website: https://www.ycombinator.com/blog/announcing-yc-x25

This is one of the reasons this scraper doesn’t have a monthly subscription is that it doesn’t make sense—data on companies is updated infrequently.

Spring 2025 features the newest companies from Y Combinator.

So if you’re looking for the latest companies in B2B with a team size of 50 or less, you should use these filters/this link: https://www.ycombinator.com/companies?batch=Spring%202025&industry=B2B&team_size=%5B%221%22%2C%2250%22%5D

Yeah my plan was to scrape quarterly the new companies but to not scrape all the companies I already have again my plan was to scrape every 3 month the top 110 most recent results.

And automate (thats why selecting Spring 2025, winter 2024 etc. doesnt for because it cannot be automated)

I get your idea, it sounds great. I have some thoughts on how to make it happen, but it's gonna take a separate solution and more time. So just keep an eye out for updates, please.
