EU Fuel Prices API - France, Spain, Italy (official data)

Live petrol, diesel, LPG, E85 and HVO prices for ~43,000 fuel stations in France, Spain and Italy, from official government open data. Search around a point, filter by postal code, city, brand or fuel, sort by cheapest, or run it on a schedule and get only the stations whose prices changed.

It's one normalized schema for three countries, with coordinates, opening information and licence attribution included. It uses no scraping of private comparison sites, only the official feeds that fuel retailers are legally required to report to.

For each station you get normalized prices (diesel, e5, e10, petrol_premium, lpg, e85, cng, lng, hvo, adblue, hydrogen…), the time each price was last updated (UTC), address, postal code, city, province, coordinates, brand (Spain and Italy), road/motorway flag, services and distance from your search point.

Who is it for?

• Fleet managers and logistics: find the cheapest diesel along a depot area, track what drivers should pay, audit fuel-card transactions.
• Apps and websites: power a fuel-price map or comparator without maintaining three different government feeds.
• Analysts, journalists, researchers: daily price history by region or brand, margin and pass-through studies.
• Fuel retailers: monitor competitors' prices around your stations and react faster.

How to use it

1. Choose Countries.
2. Either set a Latitude / Longitude / Radius (e.g. 48.8566, 2.3522, 5 km), or use Postal code prefixes / Cities, or leave everything empty for whole-country snapshots.
3. Optionally keep only certain Fuel types or Brands, pick Sort by cheapest, and cap with Max stations for a top-N list.
4. Click Start and export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or call it via API.
5. For monitoring, schedule it (e.g. hourly) with Only stations whose prices changed enabled.

When a station publishes several prices for one normalized fuel (e.g. Italian self-service vs attended), prices keeps the lowest. Enable Include raw prices to get every published price with its original name.

How much does it cost?

You pay per station returned. Filtering by radius, postal code, fuel or brand, and Max stations, keeps runs cheap. Change mode returns only stations whose prices moved. See the Pricing tab.

Tips

• Whole-country runs return thousands of rows: use them for daily snapshots, and radius/postal filters for apps.
• Use a different Monitor name per filter set when scheduling change mode.
• If one country's official server is down, the other countries still run and you aren't charged for the missing one.

FAQ

How fresh are the prices? As fresh as each government feed: minutes for France, 30 minutes for Spain, daily for Italy. priceUpdatedAt tells you when each station last reported each price.

Why is the brand empty for France? The French official feed doesn't include brands. Spain and Italy do.

Can I use the data commercially? All three sources are open licences that allow commercial reuse with attribution. Every row includes source, license and a ready-to-use attribution string.

Does it include personal data? No. Station operators' names published in the Italian registry are deliberately dropped.
