Pagination, Sorting Issues, and Showcase Support in Posts Data
I have noticed some issues related to pagination, sorting, and showcase support in the company posts data API:
- Pagination Clarity:
The API documentation states: "page": Number (a valid number greater than 0 and less than total_posts_of_the_company / 10. Per page you'll get 10 posts) However, there is no clear way to determine total_posts_of_the_company. How can we retrieve this value to properly paginate through all posts?
- Sorting Inconsistency:
When scraping posts across multiple pages, the data does not appear to be sorted properly. For example: Page 1 contains posts from March and January. Page 2 contains posts from February. This makes it difficult to ensure a chronological order when retrieving posts. Could you clarify how sorting is handled?
- Filtering by Date Range:
If I want to scrape posts from a specific time range (e.g., one or two months), pagination does not guarantee that I receive all posts within that range. What is the best way to request posts from a specific date range while ensuring complete and ordered data?
- Showcase Pages Support:
It seems that showcase pages are not supported. Can you confirm this? Do you plan to add support for showcase pages anytime soon?
Would appreciate any clarification or updates on these points. Many thanks!

If there is no pagiantion info in response, you can continue scraping unless actor returns empty array in response. Empty array presents end of posts
-
Posts are already sorted by date posted from latest to oldest. If you think its not, kindly share the usecase.
-
You cannot apply date range filters. Rather you can build a custom logic by comparing postedAt.
-
in showcase pages, just convert the page url into following format "https://www.linkedin.com/company/${company_identifier}". In showcase pages, link contains "shiowcase" instead of "company"
