    ## A note on the source address

The obvious hostname for these decisions, decisions.cipo.ic.gc.ca, does not exist — it fails DNS resolution outright. CanLII, the usual fallback, blocks automated access on the web and requires an API key on its API. The live public surface is Lexum Decisia at decisions.opic-cipo.gc.ca, reached via CIPO's own trademarks page.

The listing is served inside an iframe. The ordinary page URL returns a perfectly valid 200-OK page containing zero decisions — so this cell requests the iframe view and treats a page with no decision links as a BLOCKED read, never as a quiet year. That distinction is the difference between "no decisions this week" and "we have been reading the wrong page since launch".
