Frequently asked questions

Does it require a Manta account or API key? No. It scrapes publicly available business listing pages.

Does it work for all US states and industries? Yes — any industry keyword and any US state available on Manta.com.

What if some fields are empty? Not every Manta profile discloses all data. Missing fields are returned as null rather than omitted, so CSV exports always have the same columns.

Can I scrape thousands of businesses? Yes. Use maxItems to control how many results you want per run. Schedule recurring runs to keep your database fresh.

Does it handle Cloudflare protection? Yes. The scraper uses a real Chromium browser with proxy rotation, which reliably passes Cloudflare's managed challenge. Transient blocks are automatically retried.

• Respects maxItems as a hard cap — the run stops as soon as the limit is reached.
