Visa Sponsor Employers: UK licensed sponsors and US Department of Labor filings
$1 per 1,000 results. Platform usage included. No rental, no minimum.
Visa Sponsor Employers lists employers that sponsor work visas, from two open government sources. For the UK it reads the Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors (Workers) and returns each licensed sponsor with its town, county, licence type, rating and route. For the US it reads the Department of Labor's Labor Condition Application (LCA, for H-1B, H-1B1 and E-3 visas) and PERM (green card) disclosure files, and returns each filing with the employer, job title, wage, NAICS industry code, worksite and more than 60 other fields. Filter by city, state, rating, job title, industry and wage.

| Results | Price |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | $1.00 |
| 10,000 | $10.00 |
| 100,000 | $100.00 |
Plus $0.001 per run. One flat price, platform usage included, so there is no separate compute or proxy bill. A monthly run that collects 5,000 sponsors costs about $5.00.
Why use it
- Two sources, one actor. Switch between the UK register and the US filings with the
sourcefield. The rows carry asourcefield so a mixed list stays easy to split. - The current UK file, every run. The address of the register file changes with each update. The actor reads it from the GOV.UK page every time, so you always get the latest register (updated almost daily).
- Wide US rows. Employer name, trade name, full address, phone, FEIN, NAICS code, SOC code and title, job title, wage range with a yearly figure, prevailing wage and level, worksite address, H-1B dependent and willful violator flags, case status and dates.
- Fast on big files. The actor streams the files and filters while reading. A full US fiscal year of 563,689 LCA cases is scanned in a few seconds, and a run for 5,000 rows took 20 seconds.
- No personal contacts. The US files also hold names, e-mails and phone numbers of employer contacts, attorneys, agents and preparers. This actor never reads those columns.
How to use Visa Sponsor Employers
- Open the actor, choose the source, add a filter, press Start.
- UK input:
{ "source": "uk", "city": "Cambridge", "ukRating": "A", "maxItems": 50 }
- US input:
{ "source": "us", "usDataset": "lca", "fiscalYear": "2025", "state": "WA", "jobTitle": "data scientist", "wageMin": 150000, "maxItems": 100 }
- Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.

from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")run = client.actor("one_dollar_store/visa-sponsor-employers-search").call(run_input={"source": "us", "usDataset": "lca", "fiscalYear": "2025", "state": "CA", "naicsCode": "5415", "maxItems": 100})for row in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():print(row["employerName"], row["jobTitle"], row["wageFromAnnual"], row["worksiteState"])
Use it from an AI assistant
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants can call this actor through Apify's MCP server. Add it with this server address:
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=one_dollar_store/visa-sponsor-employers-search
Then ask, for example: "Which A rated UK sponsors in Cambridge hold a Skilled Worker licence?" or "List certified H-1B filings for data scientists in Washington state with a wage above $150,000."
Switching from another visa sponsor actor
Most visa sponsor actors take a company name or a state and a result limit. Here the choice of register is source, the main filters are employerName, city, state, jobTitle and naicsCode, and the limit is maxItems. The core fields are organisationName, townCity, rating and route for the UK, and employerName, jobTitle, wageFromAnnual, worksiteState, naicsCode and caseStatus for the US.
What are these two sources?
UK Register of Licensed Sponsors (Workers). The Home Office publishes the list of organisations that hold a licence to sponsor workers, and updates it almost daily. A licence lets an employer sponsor Skilled Worker visas and other routes. It does not mean the employer has jobs open. The register has only five columns: organisation name, town or city, county, type and rating, and route. The county is blank on most lines. That is all the register holds, and so that is all this actor can return for the UK. The actor adds the sponsor type and the rating as separate fields, taken from the type and rating column, and a line for each route an organisation holds (an organisation with two routes has two lines). It adds no company numbers or sizes; to join with Companies House data, use the organisation name and town.
US Department of Labor filings. Before an employer hires on an H-1B, H-1B1 or E-3 visa, it files a Labor Condition Application (LCA) with the job, the wage and the worksite. Before an employer sponsors a green card, it files a PERM labor certification. The Department of Labor publishes both as Excel files by fiscal year (October to September), as a quarterly release that holds the year so far. The actor reads the newest release of the year you choose. A certified LCA is not a visa. It shows that an employer plans to hire in a role at a wage, and it is a good sign of which employers hire foreign workers and what they pay.

What data does Visa Sponsor Employers return?
UK rows have these fields:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
source | uk. |
organisationName, townCity, county | As the register lists them, with spacing tidied. |
typeAndRating | The register column as published, for example Worker (A rating). |
sponsorType, rating | Worker or Temporary Worker, and A or B. |
route | The route of the licence, such as Skilled Worker. |
registerDate, registerUrl, licence | The date of the register file, its address, and its licence. |
scrapedAt | When the run read the file. |
US rows have these fields. Fields marked LCA or PERM exist for that dataset only, and a row leaves out every field the filing left blank.

| Run | scrapedAt |
Personal data
The LCA and PERM files include the names, job titles, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and addresses of the employer's contact person, of attorneys and agents, and of the person who prepared the filing. The actor does not read any of those columns, so they never reach your results. What it keeps is company information: the employer's name, address, main phone number and federal tax identification number (FEIN) as filed, the law firm's business name, and the job and wage. The files hold no data about the foreign worker; a filing counts positions, not people.

Limits
- The UK register is narrow. It has five columns. There is no company number, industry, size, address line, website, contact or date a licence was granted. County is blank on most lines. A sponsor on the register is not necessarily hiring, and a sponsor licence is not a visa.
- One UK line per route. An organisation with several routes appears several times. The same organisation can have both a Worker and a Temporary Worker line.
- Only licensed sponsors for workers and temporary workers. Student sponsors and other registers are not included.
- US filings are not approvals of a visa. An LCA is an employer's filing with the Department of Labor. A certified case means the filing was certified, not that a person got a visa. PERM certifications are the first step of a green card.
- Data anomalies. The Department of Labor warns that the files can hold typing errors and blank or odd fields from employer entry, and that a small share of cases can change in later quarterly releases. Names of the same employer can be spelled several ways, so filter by name with care.
- Fiscal years. LCA files for fiscal years 2020 to 2026 are read. PERM is read for 2025 and 2026; older PERM files use another layout and return no rows with a note in the run summary. Fiscal year 2026 is a partial year and a file of about 250 MB with over a million cases; reading all of it for a rare filter takes about two minutes. Each fiscal year is read on its own: pick the year, or run once per year.
- Row order. Rows come in the order of the file, which is newest received date first.
- Wages.
wageFromis the lowest wage the employer offers, in the unit given inwageUnit. The yearly figures are the actor's own conversion, with 2,080 hours to a year. Cases without a usable unit have no yearly figure and are dropped when you usewageMinorwageMax. - No people. Employer contacts, attorneys, agents and preparers are not read, so there are no e-mail addresses or personal phone numbers. The US files hold no worker names.
- USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub is a different dataset and is not included.
- Free plan accounts receive the first 10 results of a run.
FAQ
How much does it cost to list 10,000 sponsors? $10, plus $0.001 for each run.
Do I pay for compute or proxy on top? No. Platform usage is included in the $1 per 1,000 price. The actor downloads the open government files directly and uses no proxy.
Where does the data come from? The UK data comes from the GOV.UK publication "Register of licensed sponsors: workers", published by the Home Office. The US data comes from the Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure files on dol.gov. Neither needs a key or a login.
How often is the data updated? The UK register changes almost daily, and every run reads the latest file. The US files are released quarterly, and the actor reads the newest release of the fiscal year you choose.
How do I find which UK sponsors are new?
Schedule a daily run and keep the organisationName, townCity and route values you already have. The register gives no date of licence, so new lines are found by comparing with your last run.
How do I list US employers in one industry?
Set naicsCode to the start of the industry code (5415 for computer systems design, 5112 for software publishers) and caseStatus to Certified. Every row has the employer name, address, phone number and FEIN.
Is it legal? The UK register is published by the Home Office under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which allows reuse with attribution; GOV.UK states that its content is available under that licence unless marked otherwise. The US files are public disclosure data published by the Department of Labor, whose page states no terms of use or licence. The robots.txt files of gov.uk and dol.gov have no rule for the files this actor reads. The actor reads only the company columns and leaves out the people named in the filings. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the data protection laws that apply to you, and do not use the data to send unwanted messages. A sponsor licence or a certified filing is not advice about a company's hiring or a person's visa.
Is this an official UK Home Office or US Department of Labor product? No. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Home Office or the Department of Labor.
Feedback and support
Found a problem or want a field added? Open an issue on the Issues tab of this actor and it gets read. If the actor saved you time, an honest rating on the Reviews tab helps other people find it.
Do I need an Apify account? Yes. Actors run from an Apify account, and a free account is enough to start: it includes $5 of platform usage every month. You can sign up here. This is a referral link and it costs you nothing.
Is there a limit on the free plan? Yes. A run started from a free plan account delivers the first 10 results, then ends with a message and a link to the plans. Any paid plan returns everything you ask for, up to your own limit. The price per result is the same on every plan.
